“"Country at heart. Versatile by design." Proudly rooted in country music while offering a diverse repertoire that includes Tejano, Norteño, Spanish, and Rock favorites for audiences of all kinds. One band. Multiple genres. Endless good times. ”
Born and raised in Edinburg, Texas, Eric Treviño is the lead vocalist, acoustic guitarist, and songwriter for Deuces Wild Band. His passion for traditional country music has led to opportunities to record alongside some of Nashville’s most respected top producers and legendary session musicians. Influenced by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Cash, George Jones, George Strait, Eagles, and Tom Petty, Eric brings authenticity and heart to every performance.
When he is not performing, you can usually find him writing songs - or anxiously checking the clock and wondering why everyone isn't at souncheck yet.
Originally from Alvin, Texas, and now calling McAllen home, Jesse Saldaña has been playing music since the age of 12. Raised in a family of musicians, he developed a passion for music early on, drawing inspiration from legendary artists like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Boston, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. Over the years, he honed his skills playing guitar and bass while studying music theory alongside seasoned musicians.
Within Deuces Wild, Jesse is affectionately known as the band's "Rain Man" of sound. If there's a note slightly out of tune, a buzzing cable, or a frequency no one else can hear, chances are Jesse has already found it—and he's probably still looking for two more things that aren't there.
Matthew Flores is a San Benito, Texas native and gifted multi-instrumentalist whose musical career began at an early age, performing alongside his father before becoming a professional musician. Over the years, he has toured extensively, recorded with acclaimed producers and legendary Nashville musicians, and built a reputation as an outstanding guitarist and accordion player.
Today, Matthew is a member of Deuces Wild Band, where his talent and versatility shine on every stage.
Matthew is always chasing the perfect tone—and apparently, it lives somewhere between 9 and 10 on the volume dial.
Daniel Perez has been performing since childhood, beginning his musical journey in Matamoros, Mexico, before building an impressive career spanning mariachi, Tejano, country, bluegrass, and Latin music. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, he has toured internationally, appeared on major television networks, worked with renowned artists, and even contributed to award-winning film projects.
Now a proud member of Deuces Wild Band, Daniel brings decades of experience, professionalism, and incredible talent to every performance.
Daniel somehow manages to line dance while playing the fiddle without missing a note. Watching him perform has become the unofficial reminder to the rest of the band that they should probably start exercising.
Sam Saenz has been playing drums professionally for over 36 years, drawing inspiration from the movie "Grease", MTV, and legendary artists like Phil Collins and Don Henley. A devoted family man, he has been happily married for 26 years and is the proud father of three children. He enjoys making great music and values the friendships and camaraderie that come with being part of a band.
Sam is known as the quiet one in Deuces Wild. In fact, this biography contains more words than he's spoken all week. There are times the rest of the band can debate songs for an hour. Sam will quietly nod, count to four, and solve the problem.
